Permaculture
The conscious design and maintenance of
agriculturally productive systems which have the diversity,
stability, and resilience of natural ecosystems; the harmonious
integration of landscape and people to produce their food, energy,
shelter, and non-material needs in a sustainable way.
Permaculture Design
A system of assembling conceptual, material, and
strategic components in a pattern to benefit life in all of its
forms.

Ethics of Permaculture
Care of Earth - Provisions for all life systems to continue.
Care of People - Provisions for people to access those resources necessary for their existence.
Return of Surplus to the above aims (including labor, money, and information).
Permaculture is based on...
Working with nature, not against.
Protracted and thoughtful observation rather then protracted and thoughtless action.
The allowance for evolution in a system.
