Biodiesel

Biodiesel fuels are a renewable, practical source of energy for all diesel engines, from cars and buses to boats and farm equipment, with minimal or no modifications. It is non-toxic and biodegrades rapidly, 85-88% in water in 28 days. It burns cleaner than diesel fuel, with less greenhouse gases, particulates, and hydrocarbons. It can even be blended in any proportion with ordinary diesel fuel. Biodiesel has been reported to improve engine performance, running quieter and eliminating carbon deposits. It is so safe to use and handle that contact with skin and eyes and even accidental ingestion is not considered dangerous.

Biodiesel vs. Diesel:

  • 70% less greenhouse gases
  • 55% less particulates
  • 55% less hydrocarbons/VOCs
  • 80-90% less mutangenicity (cancer-causing agents)
  • 100% less sulfur (a major component of acid rain)
